On October 31,2014, the Underwater Robotics Club launched their ROV's into Spy Pond. Overall, the launch was a success. They were able to observe and control the ROV's as well as look under the surface of the pond. They were able to spot the other ROV in the water, study the bottom of the pond and even view fish. Now, with a list of engineering changes they would like to make, ideas for attracting fish and plans for the future the students will spend the winter working on improvements. In the spring we will head back to Spy Pond to compare results as well as the habitat.
